Freestyle Academy proudly presents
Working with Jack on our parody of “Industry Baby” by il Nas X & Jack Harlow was a really enjoyable experience. Jack and I chose to do this song because before this assignment, we would sing the song all the time so Jack and I took this opportunity to sing it even more. Through pre-production, production, and post-production, we had a lot of fun with this track.
I’m most proud of my creativity while assembling the song in Pro Tools. I didn't just put the vocals over the beat and make it sound good, I made sure to put in sound effects, vocal effects, and adlibs to spice up the track a bit. Making music is a different art than making films for sure because you have to tell a story or portray the same tone without visuals.
